- Possesses the dimensions and weight of the 9M131M
standard missile;
- Provides firing range up to 2000m;
- Features a new warhead, ensuring 950mm armour penetration

The system features the Metis-M ATGM
Thermal imager.
The system is upgraded to provide firing
range of up to 1600m by improved missiles from standard
launcher, as well as up to 1500m by standard missiles
from upgraded launcher.

The Metis-M ATGM maintenance facilities
and training aids are used to operate the Metis-M1 system.
The training aids comprise field
and classroom computer simulators.
The maintenance facilities allow
checking the launcher and thermal sight serviceability.
