Infantry Rocket-Assisted Flamethrower
RPO PDM-A (Shmel-M) — high-precision assault weapon
of new generation, which allows to solve a variety of
fire support missions in close fighting.

RPO PDM-A — a modernized
version of infantry rocket flamethrower Shmel that
features:
- doubled WH lethality;
- 1.8-time extended range;
- weight reduction by a factor of 1.3 .
DESIGNED:
- to disable enemy manpower both in the open area
and sheltered in diverse buildings and constructions;
- to destroy lightly armored vehicles and cars;
- to damage fortifications, ground-based or half-underground
stone, brick or concrete buildings

The grenade launcher is an expendable rocket-assisted round
with an air-fuel explosive filling and multi-use firing device
equipped with an optical sight.
Its effectiveness in close fighting against
any (but tanks) targets is highly competitive with that
of the 152-mm artillery high explosive fragmentation
projectile.
