Eurosatory-2010 – Paris Nord Villepinte Centre, France, 14-18 June, 2010.

This is the 8th time Russia participated in the International Exhibition for Land and Land-Air Defence EUROSATORY-2010. The exhibition took place at the exhibition complex of the “Paris Nord Villepinte Centre”.

The main topics of the EUROSATORY-2010 exhibition were the following: arms and armored equipment for air defence and land forces, means of communication, computer engineering, training facilities and equipment for rear services, production for humanitarian needs, peacemaking operations, security and counter-terrorist operations. The exposition covered the surface of about 110 thousands of m2.

KBP Instrument Design Bureau stand covering 42 m2 was organized in the closed pavilion as part of the unified Russian exposition. KBP delegation was headed by Andrey Gusev, deputy chief engineer of the company.

30 samples of arms and equipment allowed for export were exhibited, as follows: antitank guided missile complexes, artillery guided weapon complexes, air defence missile-gun complex, armament complexes for modernization of armored equipment, small arms and grenade launchers.

Over 1200 companies from 52 countries took part in the exhibition. Russian exposition covering 344 m2 was organized by the State corporation “Rostechnologii”. Among 34 Russian companies participating in the exhibition 12 companies showed military production – over 300 samples of arms end equipment.

EUROSATORY-2010 exhibition is an important stage in development and amelioration of business relationship with foreign partners in the field of military cooperation.

An example of such relations is the military cooperation between Russia and France. Taking into consideration that the year 2010 is declared the year of Russia-France partnership, the exhibition gave a boost to the broadening of relations between the two countries.
