"MAKS-2007"

The eighth Maks-2007 International Aviation and Space Salon, one of the most significant world aviation forums, took place from 21 till 26 August in Zhukovski (Moscow region).

This was the fifth time that KBP took part in this aviation show. In this show our delegation presented the developed products, discussed future trends and aspects of possibly knew co-operation with Russian and foreign companies. Mr. Rybas, Designer General and Director; Mr. Tavberidse, Deputy Director (Finance and Economy); Mr. Stankin, Moscow office Director; Mr. Alykov, Assistant Director; Mr. Pavlov, Deputy Designer General, and others conducted negotiations on the KBP part. Specialists from Australia, Chile, Germany, Peru, France, Nigeria, India, Poland, experts of the BAE Systems UK/USA firm, Web-magazines of Austria, Belgium, the USA Department of Defense, the Britain Ministry of Defense and others showed interest in the KBP developments. Besides the exhibits such as: BMP-2, Bakhcha-U, Krasnopol-M, Gran, Kornet, Metis-M1, Malakhit, KBP organized the first presentation of the Pantsir-S1 combat vehicle and so there was many visitors at the exposition site with this system. They wished to take a closer look and to have a photo at this unique development of the Tula defence manufacturer.
