It has a considerably reduced length due to a "bullpup" configuration. Forward ejection of spent cases makes the weapon equally convenient for firing from both the right and left shoulder, and significantly eliminates powder gas concentration at the shooter's face. A closed receiver contributes to the reliability of operation. Mounting a special grenade-launching unit for highly effective 40mm rounds enables manpower and materiel to be engaged by flat and high-angle fire.
